An attractive, well-kept home generally has a better chance of selling a little faster.<\/p>\n<h4>Minor exterior and interior improvements<\/h4>\n<h6>Start with the outside<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>An inviting exterior ensures that potential buyers will inspect the interior<\/li>\n<li>Keep lawns and gardens well maintained<\/li>\n<li>Ensure garage and porch areas are free of clutter and refuse<\/li>\n<li>Repair loose siding or pavement<\/li>\n<li>Replace any damaged roof shingles, eaves troughs or cracked windows<\/li>\n<li>Wash windows, gutters, mailbox and doors<\/li>\n<li>Secure loose shutters or awnings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>The inside story<\/h6>\n<p>You can do a lot to improve the inside of your home without spending a great deal of money.
